Kitsilano Beach is arguably the only competition English Bay Beach has for the title of best urban beach in Vancouver—and some might even say Canada at large.

Taken late in the season, the focus is on the beach itself, rather than the people who enjoy it daily. But if you look closely, you'll find one or two, along with several ghosted silhouettes, summoned by the long exposure.
